10. Rotor is now free to be removed11. If you are planing to take rotor for mechining, remove the inner wheel bearing, back grease seal and clean out all of grease.(image #8). They will need wheel hub (image #6a) and rotor disc (image #6b) so it would fit in the machine.
I do not recomend that you reuse the seal. Reusing the seal is just asking for expensive repairs. They don't cost much and it really isn't worth the risk of reusing the seal. If you reuse the seal they generally don't seal very well again and that allows water and dirt in and the grease to get out. When the grease is contaminated it will destroy the bearings and if it goes far enough you can destroy the hub and spindle as well. But if you have to reuse seals make this tool (image #7). Basically make a half circle from scrap metal. Place is between the seal and inner bearing. Take a 6" 3/8" extension bar. Tap one side, then the other side, and so on until it pops out the grease seal.
Clean all of grease and take ti to parts store for mechining. Make sure you call around and find an open shop. Most of shops are not open on Sunday, and if they are opne they need about 2 hours to spin break discs. So plan a head. Napa, Pep Boys, etc do it for about $8 each. Break shops, GoodYear serive, etc charge about $15 each. Once you get your rotor disc back from shop wash it well with some soup and water. If grease is contaminated it will destroy the bearings. So make sure that wheel hub is clean (image #8).
Installation: Pack the wheel bearing grease and put everything back together.
